Cotie McMahon recorded 22 points and three steals to help No. 18 Ole Miss post a 74-69 victory over No. 5 Oklahoma on Thursday night in Southeastern Conference play at Norman, Okla.

Sira Thienou added 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting for the Rebels (15-3, 2-1), who defeated a top five team for the third time this century and 14th time overall. Latasha Lattimore had 13 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots off the bench.

Aaliyah Chavez made six 3-pointers while scoring 26 points for the Sooners (14-2, 2-1), who had their 13-game winning streak halted. Raegan Beers added 15 points and matched her career best of 20 rebounds and Sahara Williams scored 12 points for Oklahoma.

Ole Miss jumped out to a 15-3 lead in the opening quarter and trailed just once when Oklahoma's Payton Verhuist scored on a layup with 6:19 left in the game. The Sooners were 6 of 25 from 3-point range with Chavez's teammates missing all 11 of their shots.

No. 3 South Carolina 93, Arkansas 58

Joyce Edwards had 22 points and seven rebounds and Tessa Johnson added 19 points as the Gamecocks trounced the Razorbacks in SEC play at Fayetteville, Ark.

Madina Okot contributed 15 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots for South Carolina (16-1, 3-0 SEC), which won its ninth consecutive contest. Raven Johnson had 14 points for the Gamecocks, who topped 90 points for the 10th time this season.

Jada Bates scored 16 points and Taleyah Jones added 13 for the Razorbacks (11-7, 0-3). Arkansas shot 32.8% from the field and committed 23 turnovers.

Alabama 64, No. 6 Kentucky 51

Jessica Timmons scored 24 points to help the Crimson Tide stun the Wildcats in SEC play at Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Diana Collins added 16 points for Alabama (16-1, 2-1), which led by 17 points entering the fourth quarter. Karly Weathers registered seven points, eight rebounds and seven steals for the Crimson Tide, who won their second straight game.

Tonie Morgan scored 14 points and Asia Boone added 12 for Kentucky (15-2, 2-1). The Wildcats committed 20 turnovers and had an eight-game winning streak halted.

No. 7 Vanderbilt 99, Missouri 68

Mikayla Blakes registered 20 points and six assists to help the Commodores remain unbeaten by routing the Tigers in SEC play at Nashville, Tenn.

Aubrey Galvan had 19 points and five steals and Sacha Washington added 15 points and 16 rebounds for Vanderbilt (16-0, 3-0), which is one victory shy of matching the best start in school history, set by the school's 1992-93 Final Four squad. Justine Pissott and Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda added 15 points apiece for the Commodores.

Abbey Schreacke made five 3-pointers while scoring 19 points for Missouri (12-6, 0-3), which lost its third straight game. Grace Slaughter added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers.

No. 8 Maryland 88, Rutgers 41

Yarden Garzon scored 18 points on 6-of-6 3-point shooting to help the Terrapins roll past the Scarlet Knights in Big Ten play.


Addi Mack added 15 points and Rainey Welson had 12 as Maryland (16-1, 4-1) won its second straight game. Isimenme Ozzy Momodu contributed 10 points and 12 rebounds and Oluchi Okananwa also scored 10 points for the Terrapins, who were a stellar 16 of 25 from 3-point range.

Nene Ndiaye had 11 points to lead Rutgers (8-8, 0-5), which trailed 65-23 after three quarters. The Scarlet Knights shot 20% percent from the field while losing their fourth straight game and sixth in the past seven.

No. 9 Michigan 105, Penn State 65

Mila Holloway scored 18 points and Te'Yala Delfosse added 17 as the Wolverines crushed the Nittany Lions in Big Ten play at University Park, Pa.

McKenzie Mathurin scored 15 points as Michigan (13-2, 4-1 Big Ten) won its second straight game since losing to Washington on Jan. 1. Brooke Quarles-Daniels had 13 points and 12 rebounds and Olivia Olson also scored 13 points with seven boards and six assists for the Wolverines, who never trailed and led 58-31 at halftime.

Gracie Merkle had 18 points on 9-of-11 shooting for Penn State (7-9, 0-5), which lost its fifth straight game and eighth in the last nine. Kiyomi McMiller added 15 points and seven assists for the Nittany Lions.

No. 10 Louisville 77, Miami 68

Elif Istanbulluoglu scored a career-high 23 points and the Cardinals won their eighth straight contest with a 77-68 victory over the Hurricanes in Atlantic Coast Conference play at Coral Gables, Fla.

Imari Berry added 16 points and Skylar Jones had 12 for the Cardinals (15-3, 5-0 ACC), which trailed 35-33 at halftime. Istanbulluoglu scored 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting in the third quarter as Louisville outscored the Hurricanes by 15 in the period to take a 60-47 advantage.

Amarachi Kimpson scored 18 points for Miami (10-6, 2-3), which lost its second straight game. Ra Shaya Kyle had 10 points and 11 rebounds and Vittoria Blasigh also had 10 points for the Hurricanes.

Tip-off was pushed up four hours due to Miami's football team playing Ole Miss in a College Football Playoff semifinal later Thursday.

No. 12 LSU 80, Georgia 59

Flau'jae Johnson scored 25 points to help the Tigers post the victory over the Lady Bulldogs in Southeastern Conference play at Athens, Ga.

Amiya Joyner had 12 points and 11 rebounds off the bench and ZaKiyah Johnson added 12 points and seven boards for LSU (15-2, 1-2), which lost its previous two games after winning its first 14 of the campaign. The Tigers outscored Georgia 24-11 in the fourth quarter to widen the winning margin.

Dani Carnegie recorded 24 points and five steals for the Lady Bulldogs (15-2, 1-2), who have lost two of three games following a 14-0 start. Georgia was just 4 of 29 from 3-point range.

No. 20 Tennessee 90, Mississippi State 80

Mia Pauldo scored a season-best 26 points and Janiah Barker added 18 to help the Volunteers beat the Bulldogs in SEC play at Starkville, Miss.

Zee Spearman and Talaysia Cooper added 14 points as Tennessee (11-3, 3-0 SEC) won its fourth straight contest. The Volunteers made 10 of 27 3-point attempts compared to Mississippi State's 2 of 13.

Madison Francis had 22 points and matched her career best of 13 rebounds and Kharyssa Richardson added 22 points and nine rebounds for the Bulldogs (14-3, 1-2). Destiney McPhaul added 14 points for Mississippi State, which lost its second straight game.
